How MMG handles your request details.

A short, plain-language notice covering what a custom part request stores, why, how long it is kept and how to ask us to change or remove it.

01

Who is responsible

MMG ENGINEERING FZC, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, decides how the information described here is used.

For any privacy question or request, write to mmg3dengineering@gmail.com.

02

What we collect

When you send a custom part request we collect the contact details you type (name, email, country and preferred contact method), the vehicle details (make, model, year and optionally generation or chassis code), and the part details and notes you write.

Optional information you may choose to add: a phone or WhatsApp number, a VIN or chassis note, material and finish preferences, and any files you attach such as photos, drawings, PDFs or CAD models.

For security we also derive a pseudonymised fingerprint of the network address and the submitted email address. The raw address and email are not stored in that security record — only an irreversible fingerprint.

03

Why we use it

  • To assess whether the part you describe can be reproduced.
  • To reply to you, ask follow-up questions and prepare a quote or project.
  • To protect the form against automated abuse and repeated misuse.
04

Lawful basis

As applicable to where you are: your consent, and the steps we take at your request before entering into an agreement, cover the handling of your request. Our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and free of abuse covers the security fingerprints described above.

05

Who else is involved

We use service providers to run the website, store attachments privately and send email. They act on our instructions. Because those providers operate internationally, information may be processed outside the UAE. Where that happens, it is handled under those providers’ terms and the safeguards required by applicable law. We do not sell personal data, and no fully automated decision alone determines whether a request is feasible — a person at MMG reviews it.

06

Attachments and access

Uploaded files are held in private storage. They are not publicly listed or browsable. When MMG needs to open a file, a temporary signed link is generated for internal use and expires after a short period.

07

How long we keep it

  • Uploads that are started but never completed are removed, together with the associated record, after 24 hours.
  • The text draft saved in your own browser expires after 7 days and never contains your files or the consent checkbox.
  • Security fingerprints expire within 48 hours.
  • Submitted requests and their files are kept while they are needed to assess or carry out the work you asked for, then reviewed and deleted, unless a legal, warranty, accounting or claims reason requires keeping them longer.
08

Your rights

Where the law that applies to you provides them, you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how it is used, and withdraw a consent you gave (this does not affect what was already done). You may also complain to the data protection authority for your location. Email us and we will respond.
